179 - octopus vs orca

it's been a while since i've posted to greyletters. for a while i've been attempting a side project (read: squirrel muffins) in which i am trying to reinvent a comic and attract new readers as well. trying so hard to please everyone has left me drained with being worried about missing updates, wondering if content is too esoteric, stressed about drawing media, etc.

i realized today that i haven't drawn for the sake of drawing in the longest time. with a bit of inspiration and time, i conjured this up. please enjoy.

materials: mechanical 0.5 pencil (pentel e-sharp), uniball vision fine (blue), Le Pen Marvy (blue), black sharpie, assortment of Copic markers, Staedtler Mars plastic eraser (pictured).
